Tryout season is almost here and in order to safely schedule tryouts for the upcoming season, we are compiling a pre-registration list. This will assist us in scheduling athletes for tryout groups (if in-person tryouts are permitted) while adhering to local health guidelines with respect to limiting numbers at gatherings. Use the link below to get your name on our pre-registration list. Should in-person tryouts not be permitted, teams will be formed through the OVA tryout application process.
Open tryouts are scheduled to begin September 19. If you have committed (through the OVA offer process) to another club, you are not permitted to register for tryouts with our club. Use the link below to pre-register.
Tryouts are going to look a little different this year but we’ll do our best to make sure all athletes understand their rights and have the opportunity to showcase their talent. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions at email@example.com.
Here’s our confirmed coaching line-up for the 2020-2021 season. Visit the Coaches page to learn more about our coaching staff. Athletes interested in trying out for one of our teams this season can pre-register online – but keep in mind that tryouts across the province may look a little different this year as we all work to adhere to local health and governing body guidelines. Some coaches may hold mini outdoor identification sessions to get to know athletes in the event tryouts are held through written submissions.

Today we received official notice that both the Ontario Provincial Championships and the Canadian National Championships have been cancelled. As a club, we support this decision that places public health at the highest priority. We are all understandably saddened at the abrupt and sudden end to our volleyball season; our hearts especially ache for those graduating athletes who will end their club career in this manner. Many of these athlete have been with us for 7 seasons or more. We are proud of each and every one of you and remember – Once a Rebel, Always a Rebel.
At this time, we have not made a decision on our year-end rep banquet that is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 27 — currently 9 weeks away.
Once feasible, our executive will meet to discuss the next steps in terms of athlete refunds and summer camp. Any new updates will be sent through your team’s parent rep – please continue to use your TeamSnap messaging to receive the most current information.
We are very saddened by this news but know it is the right decision – we are facing very unprecedented times and no one is able to predict how long this situation will continue. We can only ask that everyone does their part by following public health guidelines and STAY HOME, when possible.
In the meantime, we will be working on the year-end banquet slideshow. Please give your team’s banquet rep any photos to be included in the slideshow. We know everyone has some great memories to share!
To those athletes who have been working hard at home, there’s no need to stop – keep sweating, learning, and getting better! Tryouts for next season start now and we know our teams have some unfinished business to take care of!
