Indoor Summer Volleyball Camp

Rebels summer volleyball camps are 5 full days of volleyball at the Canada Athletic Performance Centre located inside Canada Christian College in south Whitby. A second location has now been added at Durham College (north Oshawa). Each location offers high-quality hardwood courts and air conditioning.
Our camps offer a full complement of drills, skills, and gameplay. Athletes will enjoy position-specialty sessions along with individual skill and team instruction. Camps combine a blend of physical and technical training in conjunction with game strategy and mental toughness.
- Camp t-shirt
- Written evaluation at the end of the camp week

Days: Monday – Friday (Note: Week 1 at Durham College is a 4-day week)
Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Participants are asked to arrive after 8:15 a.m. and be picked up promptly at 3:30 p.m. We do not offer before or after-camp child care.

Camp Director and Lead Coach:

Each camp group is led by highly experienced head coaches with competitive club volleyball coaching experience.
Durham Rebels coaches must undergo background screenings, Safe Sport certificate, and participate in the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). Members from our senior competitive club teams assist head coaches.

This summer, participants now have two locations to choose from for our summer volleyball camps. Be sure to select the correct location at checkout.
Canada Athletic Performance Centre is located inside Canada Christian College. The entrance is located at the northeast corner of the CCC parking lot. Follow the walkway up to the Athletic Centre entrance where staff will be there to welcome all participants.
The Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre is located inside Durham College’s north Oshawa campus. Conveniently located at the corner of Simcoe Street and Conlin Road, the entrance to the CRWC is best reached from the northernmost point of the College, using the Conlin Road entrance and following the access road and turning right onto Avenue of Champions. All parking at this facility is paid parking so parents may drop-off and pick up participants at the entrance within the roundabout. Staff will be there 10 minutes before drop-off and at pick-up time.
Please make sure your child arrives in comfortable athletic wear and brings:
- Large refillable water bottle (please do not send disposable bottles)
- Peanut/nut-free lunch and snacks (additional allergy restrictions may be in place, you will be notified)
- Clean, indoor running shoes
- Knee pads (optional, but recommended)
- Small face cloth or sweat rag
- Sunscreen and hat (participants may eat lunch outside if weather permits)
- Participants with Epipens and/or emergency medication such as inhalers should notify their group’s head coach at check-in and identify where the emergency medication can be found
