Learn to Play Volleyball (LTP)

About Us

Our girls’ Learn to Play Volleyball program is renowned throughout the Durham Region as THE program to teach young athletes how to play the game, the right way. By focusing on fundamentals, core skill acquisition, lots of meaningful touches, and increasing athletic confidence in a fun and supportive environment, our LTP participants can be assured they’re learning developmentally appropriate skills led by qualified adult coaches with the assistance of our Coaches in Training (CIT’s) – senior athletes from our Rep Teams.

NEW!!! We are excited to announce our Lil’ Rebels Learn to Play Program for Spring 2026. This is a 6-week program specially designed for girls aged 4-9. Our qualified and enthusiastic coaches and CIT’s will lead activities designed to teach fundamental volleyball movement and technique while exploring gross motor skills and athlete engagement. We are looking forward to seeing our future Rebels beginning April 23, 2026!

In the event of a cancellation due to weather, permit cancellations, or other unknown factors at the time of scheduling, make-up dates will be added to the end of each program (when possible). Please plan your schedule with this in mind. Refunds will not be issued if you cannot attend a make-up date.

OVA membership fees are non-refundable. View our full refund policy.

If your child takes part in our tryouts and makes and accepts a position on one of our competitive teams, their LTP registration fee will be credited toward their rep team fees. This request must be communicated, in writing, by September 30.
