Learn to Play Volleyball (LTP)

Our winter Learn to Play Volleyball sessions are now complete. Our LTP program will resume in the fall – watch for registration info. and details posted in September 2024.

Program Overview

Our Learn to Play Volleyball program is renowned throughout the Durham Region as THE program to teach young athletes how to play the game, the right way. By focusing on fundamentals, core skill acquisition, lots of meaningful touches, and increasing athletic confidence in a fun and supportive environment, our LTP participants can be assured they’re learning developmentally appropriate skills led by certified adult coaches. As the athletes progress, various forms of gameplay will be implemented into weekly sessions.

If you did not enter your child’s membership # on their registration, your child must present proof of registration at their first session. This can be in the form of your purchase receipt receipt or a screenshot of the athlete’s member registration page (shows athlete’s name and role as recreational player).

New participants who do not have a membership must purchase one for their child prior to the program start date. Visit mrs.ontariovolleyball.org and select “recreational player” under roles. Parents – when purchasing a membership for your athlete, register the athlete and add the parent as a contact.
