Coaches’ Role(s)

  • Lead and instruct youth volleyball teams in practices and games.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate training drills and techniques.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages growth and sportsmanship.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to players to help them grow and improve their skills.
  • Collaborate with fellow coaches and staff to coordinate schedules, events, and team logistics.
  • Serve as a mentor and role model for young athletes, promoting a love for the game and a commitment to excellence.
  • Willingness to uphold the values and standards of our program.
  • Prior coaching experience (any sport) or experience playing volleyball at the senior club or post-secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, strategies, and techniques.
  • Ability to lead and manage with confidence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire players of all ages and skill levels.
  • Positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for working with young athletes.
  • Reliable and responsible, with a commitment to attending practices, games, and team events.

Individuals who do not have the technical experience oulined above are encouraged to submit their interest as an Assistant Coach.
