Rebels for a Cause

Discovering the value of good citizenship is critical to the growth and development of young athletes. Our Rebels for a Cause initiative encourages teams to take on at least one community service project during the season. We encourage projects in which athletes engage in helping others, and not parents simply buying items for a local charity (though we don’t discourage that either). By engaging in community service, young athletes learn that one small deed can mean the world to someone else. Please help us teach young athletes about “paying it forward” and engage in your team’s Rebels for a Cause initiative.

Some of our teams’ past community service projects include:

Rebels for a Cause

  • Community clean-up day
  • Challenger Baseball League “Big Buddies”
  • Toy drive for low-income youth
  • Friendly visitors in Long-Term Care homes
