Learn to Play: New Sessions Added

We’ve had a great response to all of our Learn to Play Volleyball sessions. The 6 pm sessions at Whitby and Port Perry are both sold out! We have now added a 7:30 pm session at Port Perry and a junior girls court to the later sessions in Whitby.

Thanks for the amazing response – we can’t wait to get started with new and returning players in the gym next month!

Our next session of Learn to Play Volleyball starts in January. Register now!

Our Learn to Play Volleyball instructional program offers players in grades 4 through 10 the opportunity to build the fundamental skills required to become better volleyball players. Many of our LPV players have gone on to play on our rep teams and their school volleyball teams. We offer two locations — Whitby and Port Perry. Our LPV always fills up quickly so register soon to reserve your spot. LPV is an instructional program that transitions to increased game play as players become more skilled. LPV’s 8 week program is just $110 while our 10 week program is only $130 – all sessions are 90 minutes long. Register Now.

Dynamite Wins Bronze at Provincial Cup

In their first tournament of the season, Durham Rebels 13U Dynamite travelled all the way to Navan, Ontario to take part in the November 10 Provincial Cup.

During morning pool play, Dynamite went undefeated taking both games in straight sets. This top finish would allow them to move straight through to the quarter finals where, once again, they were able to prevail in two straight sets. This win meant Dynamite was now in the final four and would face the very skilled Maverick Rattlers of Ottawa, another team that had gone undefeated throughout the day. While Dynamite succumbed to the Rattlers, they didn’t give it away easily taking the Rattlers to a 23-25 and 18-25 match.
