art_2011_u16o_peterboro += "Our first tournament was a pre-season tournament held in Peterborough.&nbsp;&nbsp;It was a great opportunity for the girls to try out the new rotation and work out the quirks before the season begins.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u16o_peterboro += "Our day started off slow taking some tough loses.&nbsp;&nbsp;We first played our sister team DRVC, losing with the final scores 14-25 & 20-25.";
art_2011_u16o_peterboro += "&nbsp;&nbsp;We then played the Northumberland Breakers and lost to them 19-25 & 20-25.";
art_2011_u16o_peterboro += "&nbsp;&nbsp;Our next opponent was the host team the Peterborough Thunder and once again we lost 13-25 & 15-25.&nbsp;&nbsp;Our girls were more determined than ever to turn their play around.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u16o_peterboro += "The next team we were to face was Durham Attack Red.&nbsp;&nbsp;Our girls came out strong and played some of the day's best volleyball we had seen.&nbsp;&nbsp;They took both sets 25-15 & 25-16.&nbsp;&nbsp;The game was emotionally charged and things had finally turned around for our girls.&nbsp;&nbsp;We were pumped!<br /><br />";

art_2011_u16o_peterboro += "&nbsp;&nbsp;Once again our girls took both sets with the scores of 25-22 & 25-23.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u16o_peterboro += "So though we had a rough start, the girls pulled together and started showing their true potential.&nbsp;&nbsp;We saw some excellent serving throughout the day.";

art_2011_u16o_richmondhill += "Our second pre-season tournament was at Richmond Hill High School on November 13, 2010.  The team has come together well and have shown improved confidence and skill through the pre-season.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u16o_richmondhill += "In pool play, we faced Markham 15U and the Etobicoke Titans. Our first game was a close loss to Markham with great hitting by Kally and Nicole, great passing from Kim and Brittany, great setting from Aarti, and terrific blocking from Stacey.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u16o_richmondhill += "The Titans gave us a challenge in the first game but we came close in game two with a 24-25 score.  Super passing by Megan and fantastic blocking by Paige.  Katie scored several aces with amazing service.  Kayla demonstrated excellent passing and hitting with consistence throughout the day.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u16o_richmondhill += "The crossover game was against Lakeside with a loss but the day ended with a much-celebrated victory over the Stingers.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u16o_richmondhill += "We placed 7th overall.   Our team has shown improvement in positioning and approaching thanks to Head Coach Jim and Assistant Coach Sandy.<br /><br />";

art_2011_u16o_richmondhill += "Our girls are looking forward to their first OVA tournament at the Provincial Cup on the 27th.";

art_2011_u16o_u16mcgregor += "Well this tournament found us travelling back up north to Barrie. With the snowy conditions we all left Durham region a little bit early but arrived safely and ready to play!<br /><br />";
art_2011_u16o_u16mcgregor += "The first team we played was the Georgian Bay Vistas.  Our girls came out strong, with some great movement on the court.  We took both sets 25-18 & 25-8.  This was a great way to start the day.  The girls were ready to play!<br /><br />";
art_2011_u16o_u16mcgregor += "The next team we faced was the Georgian Cubs.  The girls once again played really well.  The girls were hustling and covering the court.  Aarti served beautifully for the last 8 points, we won the set 25-17.  In the second set we saw some great serving like Katie for 8 consecutive points.  We just fell short losing with a close score of 23-25.  As in each set, the girls played strong & hustled on the court.  We took the third set 15-13.  With that win we finished 1st in our pool.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u16o_u16mcgregor += "After a quick lunch break we went on to crossovers.  The next team we met gave us a little bit of difficulty and we lost the set 19-25.  The opposing team had some tall girls and we had to make some strategic adjustments.  Our girls came out strong and played hard.  Kayla with her bullet serve got the team off to a great start.  Our girls dominated the set.  Kally had a great game at the net!  We took the set 25-11.  It forced a third set.  Once again the girls pulled together, played some great volleyball and took the set 15-10.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u16o_u16mcgregor += "Next we met up with the STVC Synergy.  This was a tough team and our girls found it challenging.  Unfortunately we were unable to take a win from this game losing both sets 18-25 & 10-25.  With this loss we were playing for the bronze medal.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u16o_u16mcgregor += "Our last opponent for day was Durham Attack Black 15U.  Our girls played awesome.  We saw some great serving by Nicole.  The girls dominated the first set winning it with a score of 25-10.  The girls came out in the second set determined to bring home the bronze.  And thatÕs what they did!  They played as a team and won the set 25-22.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u16o_u16mcgregor += "The girls played excellent volleyball.  We some great rallies throughout the day!  I must say to each and every girl you played awesome.  Kim our libero did a great job!  Our setters Aarti and Katie were setting some beautiful balls!  Our right side hitters Megan and Paige were right on with their hits!  Our middles Stacey & Kally were fantastic at the net!  Kayla and Nicole were our only two powers as Brittany was still out with her injury and both ladies were blasting out the hits!  Great job ladies!  Brittany was busy cheering on the side lines.<br /><br />";

art2011_u16o_u17mcgregor += "Our first 17U  tournament found us travelling to Kingston.<br /><br />";
art2011_u16o_u17mcgregor += "We were small in numbers with only six playing players and one on the bench.";
art2011_u16o_u17mcgregor += "The girls played hard and had a great 4th place finish at the end of the day.<br /><br/>";
art2011_u16o_u17mcgregor += "The first team we met was the Richmond Hill Raiders 17U. Our girls played well and came out strong and won both sets 25-20 & 25-13.<br /><br />";
art2011_u16o_u17mcgregor += "Next we met the Etobicoke Titans 17U. Unfortunately we didnÕt have the same result losing both sets 18-25 & 13-25. This left us finishing 2nd in our pool play.";
art2011_u16o_u17mcgregor += "Onto crossovers.  Our next team was to be the Barrie Elites 17U.  The girls had some great plays.  We took the first set 25-09.  We lost the second set 20-25.  The girls came out strong in the third set and took it with a score of 15-13.<br /><br />";
art2011_u16o_u17mcgregor += "Our next match would dictate which medal we would play for.  We met the Durham Attack Red 16U.  The girls played well but unfortunately the scores do not reflect the level of play.  We lost both sets to Attack.<br /><br />";
art2011_u16o_u17mcgregor += "The last team we would meet for the day was the Etobicoke Titans 17, once again.  Both sets were well fought with very close scores 22-25 & 26-28 for the Titans.<br /><br />";
art2011_u16o_u17mcgregor += "With only having six players all day the girls played great!  CoodoÕs to Aarti, Kally, Kayla, Megan, Nicole & Stacey for competing hard all day! Thanks to Brittany who had been sidelined with an injury, for cheering the girls on from the bench.<br /><br />";
