art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "A total of 8 teams participated in the 13U division of the Humber Pre-Season Volleyball Classic Tournament held at Humber Athletic Centre on October 30, 2010. <br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "The 13U DRVC team played hard to earn a Bronze Medal in the Consolation Final match against the Aurora Storm. Below is a summary of how the matches played <br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "Congratulations DRVC girls on your first 13U Tournament of the 2010- 2011 season!<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "<u>DRVC vs. Aurora STORM</u>(8:30 am)<br />Game 1<br />";
art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "DRVC looked sharp in their new uniforms and arrived bright and early for an 8:30 am start against the Aurora STORM, one of four teams in Pool 'B'.  It was a good time for the girls, and they took the first game from Aurora 25-19.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "Game 2<br />Although DRVC was off to a wobbly start when one of the players lost her running shoe, followed by a flying hair band, this game proved to be a close match-up with Aurora STORM.  DRVC players on the bench cheered to rally their team on the floor.  Strong leadership skills and communication helped push DRVC ahead 19-15.  The STORM didn't weaken however, and fought back to trail DRVC by only two points at 23-21.  The battle continued and the game was soon tied at 24-24.  DRVC prevailed, and managed to come away with a win - 26-24 over the STORM.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "<u>DRVC vs. Scarborough Titans</u> (11:15 am)<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "Game 1<br />The DRVC team was off to a great start with tips, an ace serve and good passing to enable 3 hit ball and a few kills.  TITANS were forced to call a time-out early in the game but DRVC remained confident and played well together.  The girls did not give up their lead in the second half and finished off the TITANS with a kill to wrap it up 25-14.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "Game 2<br />In the second game DRVC remained strong in the first third with three kills, leading 7-5.  Unfortunately, the momentum changed from this point on after the ball dropped to the floor on the DRVC side a few times and gave up our serve.  Communication seemed to break down with more than one player attempting to set or pass the ball at the same time and we fell behind 12-17.  DRVC struggled to keep up, and eventually ran out of time to catch the leaders.  The Scarborough TITANS took the second game 25-20.<br /><br />";

art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "Game 1<br />In the first match-up against Georgetown, DRVC had trouble keeping pace.  After three kills by DRVC to the right, centre and left side of the Georgetown court, the score was now 15-11 in favour of Georgetown.  DRVC then faced a very strong Georgetown server and had difficulty returning the ball and getting it into play.  Unfortunately, the girls could not generate a comeback and succumbed to Georgetown 16-25.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "Game 2<br />In the second game DRVC continued to trail behind Georgetown in the first half.  At 11-16, an injury to a Georgetown player put a halt to the game momentarily while assistance was provided.  When the play resumed, DRVC battled to keep the score even for several points.  At 23-23, it really could have gone either way.  But unfortunately, Georgetown edged DRVC 25-23 to pick up the win.<br /><br />";

art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "Game 1<br />DRVC played well against their Etobicoke 381 counterparts; however the girls were still unsure about their positioning overall.  Their confidence was soon boosted by their point margin, and their success in blocking, spiking, and some clever tips to empty spaces.  The team surged ahead to victory over the Etobicoke 381, 25-13.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "Game 2<br />Unlike many of the other games on this day, DRVC got off to a strong start in this game.  Although leading 14-9 after an excellent 3 hit kill, Etobicoke managed to shake up the DRVC flow with a very strong server who racked up 7 points in a row that enabled Etobicoke to pull ahead of DRVC 16-15.  The DRVC girls didn't give up, and settled down to deliver a superb block and an ace serve back to back.  They kept up the pressure and managed to squeak out a victory against the team in pink, 25-23. Too close for comfort - especially for parents!<br /><br >";

art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "Game 1<br />The DRVC 13U girls got off to a great start in this match and didn't let go this time.  It was obvious they wanted to win and the scoreboard showed that.  They refused to let their lead slide and with consistent passing, setting, spiking and tipping, the DRVC girls showed the Aurora STORM II they were in control.  The result? DRVC over STORM II 25-12.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "Game 2<br />In the second Consolation Final match-up, once again DRVC struggled with confusion about their positioning and had trouble keeping up with the force of the STORM II.  Although there we some great saves and some fantastic digs, it wasn't enough to keep the STORM II from raging back to beat DRVC 25-19.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_13uhumber += "Game 3<br />The first game three and the final game of the tournament proved to be a quick one.  Sore-bottomed parents and tired athletes were eager to wrap-up the day.  And as the &quot;award trolley&quot; rolled out onto the gym floor in preparation for the closing presentations, our girls perked up and played a strong game.  Highlights of the shortened game included an excellent deception tip, an ace serve, followed by 6 more points earned on our serve, and a few final kills to the STORM II court.   DRVC secured the bronze medal as the consolation final winner over the Aurora STORM II 15-9.<br /><br >";

art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Game 1:<span class='rsrc'>Score 25 - 21</span><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "For their very first 14U tournament this season our 13U DRVC girls played very well. Strong serving from the Interclub team gave them an early lead.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  DRVC answered the call with a 6-point serving streak that gave them a 19-18 lead.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  The girls never looked back and went on to win the game 25 - 21!<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Game 2:<span class='rsrc'>Score 22 - 25</span><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "After a great start for DRVC (another 6 point streak), Interclub D1 responded and took over the lead.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  Interclub D1 played a strong game at the net despite the great from our girls and took the second game 25 - 22.<br /><br />";

art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Interclub D1 came out strong but DRVC fought back and managed to take the lead.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  Interclub battled back to tie the game 14 - 14, but our girls stayed focused and DRVC came up with the match win over Interclub 16 - 14.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "<u>DRVC vs. YORK SPARTANS</u><br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Game 1:<span class='rsrc'>Score 11 - 25</span><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "The York Spartans presented a challenge to DRVC as they were a very strong team with good net play.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  There were some great rallies between these two teams but well placed shots by the Spartans kept the game out of reach for DRVC.  Spartans won 25 - 11.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Game 2:<span class='rsrc'>Score 17 - 25</span><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "The second game began with a close score between the blue and orange DRVC team and the sky blue Spartans.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  Good team play by DRVC, but strong serving by the Spartans helped them pave the way to victory.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  Our girls never gave up and battled until the very end. Spartans over DRVC 25 - 17.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "<u>DRVC vs. CLARINGTON GRIZZLIES</u><br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Game 1:<span class='rsrc'>25  - 8</span><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Thanks in part to a tasty and nutritious lunch our girls came out strong with consistent 3-ball play!";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  Good net play took them to a 15 - 6 lead when time was called.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  A few more aces by DRVC led to a conclusive win over the Grizzlies.  DRVC over the Grizzlies 25 Ð 8.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Game 2:<span class='rsrc'>Score 25 - 16</span><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "DRVC started the game with an ace and a back row spike to make it 4 - 2 over the Grizzlies.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  A few mistakes by Clarington increased DRVC's lead, 11 - 7.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  Our girls hustled and came up with some nice digs to save possession.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  Clarington made some changes at this point and narrowed the gap to make it 14 - 12 for DRVC.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  Great net play from our girls bumped their score up to 18 and great team play soon made it 23 - 13.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  Best game in the tournament for DRVC so far!  Final score was 25 - 16 for DRVC to take the match.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "<u>DRVC vs. OTTAWA FUSION</u><br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Game 1:<span class='rsrc'>Score 21 - 25<br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "The Fusion jumped to an early lead of 5 - 0 which prompted a time out for DRVC.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Our girls worked hard to make it 5 - 3.  A great rally and follow-up plays soon brought the score to 9 - 8 for Fusion.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "After a great block by DRVC and continued strong play, DRVC took the lead 13 - 12 forcing Fusion to take a time out.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "DRVC continued serving strong and led 16 - 12 but Fusion responded with some great spikes and tied it up.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "At 20 - 17 for the Fusion, DRVC took a time out but returned to the floor to face strong serving from Fusion.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Fusion captured the win over DRVC 25 - 21.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Game 2:<span class='rsrc'>Score 23 - 25</span><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Game 2 got off to a closer start than the first match but Fusion soon forced DRVC into a time out after taking an 8 - 3 lead.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  DRVC made some strong serves but Fusion soon took charge with 15 - 9 lead.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  Good play at the net, a strong spike and a couple of ace serves kept DRVC in the game.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  Both teams battled on, and at 24 - 17 this game suddenly became THE game to watch.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  DRVC hit some nice spikes and made the score even closer at 24 - 19.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  DRVC continued to rally against the Fusion with well placed serves and continued fighting to made it 24 - 23.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  Great digs by our girls almost tied the game but the Fusion refused to relinquish their lead and ended it with a score of 25 - 23.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "<u>DRVC vs. SCARBOROUGH TITANS</u><br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Game 1:<span class='rsrc'>Score to be confirmed</span><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Game 2:<span class='rsrc'>Score 9 - 25</span><br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "At the end of the day (literally), the Scarborough Titans proved to be a very strong team and defeated our fatigued 13U DRVC team in two quick games.<br /><hr>";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Overall this first 14U tournament was a very successful one for our 11 and 12 year old girls.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "  It was great learning experience and an opportunity to improve the skills they have been working hard on in practice.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Congratulations to the girls and Coach Rob for a strong showing at the Stouffville District High School.";
art_2011_u13_u14provcup += "Overall they placed 7th out of 12 teams entered in this 14U Provincial Cup Tournament, and should all be very proud of their efforts!!  Way to go team!";

art_2011_u13_u15inv += "<u>Game 1</u>: 22-25<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "Both teams were evenly matched and the score was close with a tie midway at 16-16";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  The DRVC U13 girls had a nice block and some good 3-hit plays. After a time-out for DRVC U14 Orange, the older girls pulled ahead to 20-18.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  The DRVC U13 team lost a bit of momentum and unfortunately after a timeout were not able to make a come-back.  DRVC U14 ORANGE won this game 25-22.<br /><br />";

art_2011_u13_u15inv += "Another close game from start to finish with the score tied at 15-15.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  After a few good serves, DRVC U13 pulled ahead for the first time to make it 18-17.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  DRVC U13 made a great serve, block and tip, to maintain the lead 21-20.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  The score was tied again at 22-22 before the U13 girls took the lead 23-22.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  The older girls were not going down easily and after tying it up again DRVC U14 ORANGE won the next two points with great serves to win 25-23 over the U13 team.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "<span class='orng'>DRVC U13 vs. DURHAM ATTACK BLACK U14</span><br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "<u>Game 1</u>: 25-24<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "For the first half of this game, the U13 girls played strong and worked very well together.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  During the second half the ATTACK team became much more aggressive as they saw that the match was quickly slipping from their grasp.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  The U13 team was ahead of the U14 Attack team by 8 points (18-10), but with the change of tempo initiated by ATTACK, the DRVC girls stopped communicating and had trouble deciding who should take the second ball.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  After a timeout for DRVC U13 the score was very close at 23-22 for ATTACK.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  The U13 girls did not give up despite the fact that their lead had been lost.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  The game was then tied up at 24-24. DRVC U13 won the next point to take the game.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  Due to the mandatory cap they did not need to win by 2 points. Congratulations U13 girls on such a well played game against a very strong team!<br /><br />";

art_2011_u13_u15inv += "Both teams played well to start and the score was 6-5 for DRVC U13, however a fantastic serving streak by ATTACK earned them 5 points in a row, followed by another 6 point serving streak later on.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  The score was 18-9 in no time at all. After a great rally by both sides the score was 21-9 for ATTACK.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  Strong serving won the game for the BLACK ATTACK team with a final score of 25-9.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "<span class='orng'>DRVC U13 vs. THE NORTHUMBERLAND BREAKERS GOLD</span><br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "<u>Game 1</u>: 25-16<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "Great plays by everyone on the DRVC U13 side made this a total team victory.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  Good serving, a great block followed by a spike put them ahead with a 14-8 lead.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  A foot fault for the Breakers boosted the U13 team and after another great set and kill, the score was 17-11 for DRVC.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  Good front-line plays and consistent spiking and serving gave DRVC the decided win over Northumberland 25-16.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "<u>Game 2</u>: 25-19<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "DRVC continued to play strong against the Breakers in this game although as the Breakers fought to catch up, a timeout was needed for the DRVC U13 team when the score reached 15-12.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  Our girls returned from the timeout to play great 3-hit ball and won back another 5 points in a row to make it 20-12.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  After DRVC lost serve, both teams played a great rally that ended with the point going to the Breakers.  The score was now 22-16.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  Both teams battled back and forth losing serve on both sides.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  The lead that DRVC built up earlier worked to their advantage, and DRVC managed to win the game 25-19. This was a very exciting game to watch. Well done girls!<br /><br />";

art_2011_u13_u15inv += "<u>Game 1</u>: 16-25<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "This team has provided tough competition for our DRVC U13 girls this season, and this day was no exception.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  The DRVC U13 girls trailed the Titans for the duration of the game.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  The Scarborough Titans picked up a lot of points on their serves (6 in a row).  The final score was 25-16 for the Titans.<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "<u>Game 2</u>: 12-25<br /><br />";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "Game 2 was a closer first half with the DRVC girls leading early at 6-5 at the start.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  Unfortunately, the U13 team continued to struggle and a lot of changes were made to the team rotation.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  At 14-10 for the Scarborough team, DRVC called for a timeout to try and get things back on track.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "  DRVC had difficulty returning serve and after returning to the floor from a timeout, experienced more confusion about who was setting the second ball.";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "The Scarborough Titans capitalized and took this match 25-12.<br /><hr style='border:solid;height:2px;border-color:#ff3300;'>";
art_2011_u13_u15inv += "The U13 girls finished 4th in Pool 'A' and did not advance beyond the round robin play, however they gained more experience and learned a lot from playing and watching the U14 tournament matches.<br /><br />";

art_2011_u13_u14mcgregor += "<span class='orng'>Game 1: 23 - 25</span><br />";
art_2011_u13_u14mcgregor += "The first game of the tournament was close to start but the Markham Stingers pulled ahead with strong hits and serves.";
art_2011_u13_u14mcgregor += "  At 15 - 10 for the Stingers, both sides enjoyed a great rally.";
art_2011_u13_u14mcgregor += "  DRVC missed a few serves and the ball returned to the Stingers court.";
art_2011_u13_u14mcgregor += "  At game-point for the Stingers, the DRVC server really pulled up her socks and dug in with a couple of great serves to close the gap.";

art_2011_u13_u14mcgregor += "DRVC started game 2 with a more confident approach and worked together to pull ahead 12 - 7.";
art_2011_u13_u14mcgregor += "  After missing a few returns, and subbing a few players, DRVC fell behind a few more points.";
art_2011_u13_u14mcgregor += "  After another great mid-game rally, the Stingers pulled ahead 17 - 16.";

art_2011_u13_u14mcgregor += "  Although the game started off with a fairly close score, a problem identified within the rotation on the Etobicoke side prompted a very long delay of game and after about 10 minutes, both sides appeared to have lost interest while waiting for it to be sorted out.";
art_2011_u13_u14mcgregor += "  DRVC got a lift when play resumed and the E381 side tried to block one of their serves.";
art_2011_u13_u14mcgregor += "  This was followed up with a strong DRVC spike to the back court and the girls managed to put an end to the game with a final score of 25 - 18.<br /><br />";

art2011_u13_glashan += "  They continued to use the 6-back rotation. This was an exciting game to watch with a lot of intensity and energy.";

art2011_u13_glashan += "The DRVC team was really pumped up and ready to go for the second game against Durham Attack Red.";
art2011_u13_glashan += "  Although the bench supported the players on the floor with great cheering, DRVC struggled to return the ball and Durham Attack took the lead 6-5 in the first quarter.";

art2011_u13_glashan += "The girls began their second day of volleyball action at Glashan Public School, with consistent serving against Fielding 8 to give them an early lead.";

art2011_u13_glashan += "  Good energy and great cheering from the bench pushed them ahead 10-3.";
art2011_u13_glashan += "  Applecroft rallied with their serve and caught up by a few points.";
art2011_u13_glashan += "  DRVC continued serving well and playing fantastic 3-hit ball in this game.";
art2011_u13_glashan += "  The 25th point was won with a DRVC kill to the Applecroft court.  The final score was 25-15.<br /><br />";

art2011_u13_glashan += "  The second half, Glashan stepped it up a notch and pulled ahead after a great rally by both sides.";

art2011_u13_glashan += "  The final score was 25-21 for the home team, Glashan Public School.<br /><br />";

art2011_u13_glashan += "The DRVC girls faced some very tough serves to start the second game and Glashan took a very quick and early lead 8-1.";
art2011_u13_glashan += "  After a DRVC time-out was called, the girls rallied to catch up in the score, trailing by only 3 points at 16-13.";
art2011_u13_glashan += "  Glashan continued to keep up the pressure and took the second game from DRVC, eliminating them from competition.  The final score was 25-14.";

art2011_u13_glashan += "Overall the U13 DRVC girls finished first in their &quot;B&quot; division pool and reached the semi-finals in the &quot;A&quot; division.";

art2011_u13_glashan += "  Although the weather was challenging for traveling -- both ways for some -- Ottawa was a great experience and a fun time away from home for the players and parents.";

art2011_u13_stingers += "As is often the case for this team, the DRVC girls got off to a slow start in the first game of the day against the Peterborough Thunder.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  At 8 - 1 for the Thunder, DRVC called for a time-out.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  At 11 - 2 some changes were made to the line-up, but the girls just werenÕt awake yet and lost the first game 25 - 13.<br /><br />";

art2011_u13_stingers += "  Although the girls had some great serves that gave them a 20 - 13 lead over the Elites,";

art2011_u13_stingers += "DRVC began the game with a fantastic 3-hit play but several of our girls were struggling with their serves,";
art2011_u13_stingers += " which kept the score very close throughout the entire game.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  The game was tied at 19 - 19 and both teams battled on.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  At 25 - 24 for DRVC, the Durham Attack coach called for a time out.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  Fortunately our girls were able to stay focused and extinguished the last chance of a win for the Knack.<br /><br />";

art2011_u13_stingers += "This game was bit messy and form went out the window, as several double-hits were called by the ref on both sides of the net.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  Durham Attack called for two timeouts; the first at 15 - 10 for DRVC; and the second at 19 - 12.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  Although there was a near collision for two DRVC players near the end of the match, the girls pushed ahead and managed to win 25 - 19.";

art2011_u13_stingers += "Weak serving from DRVC was back in game one against the Stingers.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  Although the score was close, DRVC trailed behind the Stingers for the entire 25 points.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  The Stingers didn't give the Rebels an opportunity to pull ahead and finished the game 25 - 23.<br /><br />";

art2011_u13_stingers += "DRVC got off to a head start this time, and were soon up 13 - 6 against the Stingers.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  The Stingers rallied and the score remained close for the second half of the game.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  A questionable call from the ref added to the mounting tension and the last quarter was described as a &quot;nail-biter&quot;";
art2011_u13_stingers += " which had parents squirming in their seats.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  DRVC performed well and pulled off some great serves which allowed them to take the sting out of the Markham team";
art2011_u13_stingers += " and advance to the third set in the match.<br /><br />";
art2011_u13_stingers += "<span class='orng'>Game 3: 15 - 9</span><br />";
art2011_u13_stingers += "This game was a fantastic tiebreaker performance by the 13U DRVC team.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  At the half way point the Stingers had a slight edge with a score of 8 - 7.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  After changing sides DRVC did not look back and went on to take the set and match!";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  The 13U team had earned the right to move on and challenge the DRVC 14U girls in the gold medal match of the tournament.";

art2011_u13_stingers += "<u>DRVC U13 vs. DRVC Orange 14U</u><br /><br />";
art2011_u13_stingers += "<span class='orng'>Game 1: 23 - 25</span><br />";
art2011_u13_stingers += "Although the 13U girls got off to a slow start (9 - 1 for DRVC Orange), they picked up the tempo and soon had the 14U girls looking worried";
art2011_u13_stingers += " when they tied the game at 18 points.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  The score remained close for the rest of the game but the Orange team refused to go down to their younger competitors and took the game 25 - 23.<br /><br />";

art2011_u13_stingers += "In the last game of the Sunday tournament, fatigue began show on the faces and in the body language of our 13U Rebels.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  Problems keeping the rotation in order didn't help, and soon the girls were down 20 - 6.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  The younger Rebels rallied against the 14U DRVC team in the second half, but the Orange lead was too great.";
art2011_u13_stingers += "  The DRVC 14U girls captured the gold medal from the Stingers G14U Tournament. Congratulations to the DRVC 14U Orange team!";

art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "Eight months after trying out for the 13U DRVC volleyball team, 14 young players from the Durham Region arrived at the Manulife Sportsplex";

art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "  For those girls brand new to &quot;The Provincials&quot, the sheer size of the event was awesome, and for those players returning,";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += " the excitement and anticipation of the competition ahead was energizing!<br /><br />";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "Our team arrived at the Sportsplex at 3:00 pm for their first match against Toronto's &quot;Interclub Black&quot; 14U team.";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "  Unfortunately, we were slow to start and lost the first two games with errors that proved to even more costly at the end of the night.<br /><br />";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "  The 13U girls picked up the pace as the day wore on, and won two straight games against the Acts Elites.<br /><br />";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "  In the evening they split one game each with the 14U DRVC Orange team.";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "  The third game proved to be one of the most exciting games of the tournament.";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "  Coach Rob and our 13U girls managed to take control in the deciding game and won 15 - 9 against a very disappointed 14U team.<br /><br />";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "As a result of a three-way tie in the &quot;D&quot; pool with DRVC 14U Orange, Interclub Black, and DRVC U13, point differential came into effect";

art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "  The girls got off to a better start on day two by winning two straight against the Niagara Rapids Red team - however the second game was a bit";

art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "  DRVC kept their parents on edge until grabbing the win by two points at 26 - 24.<br /><br />";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "After taking a well deserved supper break, checking out the latest photos, and doing a little shopping, DRVC took down the";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += " Kitchener-Waterloo Predators next in two straight.<br /><br />";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "The evening match against Etobicoke 381 Red was much tenser but DRVC managed to come away victorious after two very close games.<br /><br />";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "Our 13U girls won all six games on Saturday and earned an earlier bedtime than the previous evening - however, not everyone took advantage";

art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "The final day of competition arrived and with an earlier start time, DRVC faced the Oakville Thunder.";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "  They took this match in two games and headed back to Forbes Hall to check out more photos of players in action.<br /><br />";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "Next, they faced the Storm Tsunami from Aurora. Not unlike many of their other matches, the score was close and the parents and spectators";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += " alike had a difficult time sitting still.";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "  Fortunately, DRVC took both games and were off on another break before facing their gold medal round competition from the";

art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "The two Durham teams faced off at 4:40 pm on Sunday afternoon, while parents of both teams, neighbours and friends, anxiously waited";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += " and watched to see how the Gold Medal match would unfold.";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "  DRVC took the first game quickly with a score of 25 - 9 silencing the chants of &quotAttack&quot;! &quot;Attack&quot;!";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "  In game two the Durham Attack turned things around and went neck and neck with DRVC all the way up the scoreboard until they broke away at";
art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += " 24 - 21. After scoring the final point to take the game 25 - 21, the players and fans for Durham Attack went wild.<br /><br />";

art2011_u13_u14ontchamps += "The Gold Medal game of Division 2, Tier 3, was a showstopper. Not unlike the second game, the score was virtually tied all the way along";
