art_15uo_15uprovincialcup += "15U Orange started the day with a bang. We happened to have the top two teams of our division from last season in our pool. But that didn’t discourage our girls, they came out to play and play they did!
";
art_15uo_15uprovincialcup += "Our first match was against our sister team DRVC 15U. The girls played really well! They were moving to the ball and setting up some beautiful plays. It was a great start the season.
";
art_15uo_15uprovincialcup += "Next we played North Bay Blizzard right after playing DRVC. Once again the girls were strong almost defeating the Blizzard in the first set. The second set was a little tougher but the girls kept trying.

art_15uo_15uprovincialcup += "We then sat for a long time, a very long time! It took another 7 hours to play 2 more games. In crossovers the girls met the Selects Green. The girls played hard and tried to rally back but lost both sets to the Selects. The girls didn’t give up, & they continued to play hard despite the long afternoon of waiting.

art_15uo_15uprovincialcup += "The last team they met for the day was the Diamonds Blue. The girls once again came out strong but were unable to pull out the win against the Diamonds.

art_15uo_15uprovincialcup += "The scores throughout the day didn’t necessarily reflect the girls play. Our girls came out strong with some great digs, beautiful sets, some powerful hits and great serving. Great job! They all played well and I’m sure that at the next tournament our girls will have a much better result.

art_15uo_15umcgregorcup += "ROAD TRIP!! Well this time around our 15u girls travelled to Ottawa Ontario, our nation’s capital, for the McGregor Cup. After an evening of bonding with dinner and some fun at the hotel we were ready to play some volleyball!! We started off to a great game against the Scarborough Titans Dynasty. Our ladies were on fire. It was a very fast paced game with tons of action. We were moving well; we worked hard and made some great plays. Unfortunately both sets went to the Titans.

art_15uo_15umcgregorcup += "The loss didn’t shake us by any means. We were pumped and ready to bring the heat into our next game against Peterborough Thunder. Our ladies were giving them a good run, with some beautiful sets by Aarti and Paige to set up Brittany for some hard hits. Both Nicole & Megan were amazing in defense digging up those balls! Stacey worked the net like a pro. With some great teamwork, we took the first set 25-21, making us ready for more! The second set was just as explosive. Kally was on fire with her serving. We had some great setting by Kim and Stephanie allowing some more hard hits. Alycia & Haley were all over the net! The girls did not stop. With that, we won again, 25-22.

art_15uo_15umcgregorcup += "After a 2 game sit, our girls were more than ready for our crossover game against Knights VC. This game was with out a doubt one of our hardest game yet. The girls were communicating and moving all over the court. We had showed great hustle, some good plays at the net, with awesome tips, and hard hits. In the end, we were 5 points short and lost 25-20. Our second line was up for the challenge and came on pumped; the second set was equally as intense. The girls fought hard but with some tough breaks fell short with the final score being 25-22. Both sets could’ve gone either way. There was some awesome volleyball!

art_15uo_15umcgregorcup += "During our next little break, our girls bonded over a great lunch put together by our number one fans, our parents. Our final game of the day was against Etobicoke Titans Black. The girls were getting a bit tired, but were still on their A-game. We played an equally matched game, showing our stuff. We had a great start with Brittany on a serving role with 8 serves, and Nicole with some powerful hits. The setting could not have been any better with Aarti and Kim at the helm. Stacey and Alycia were solid at the net. The rallies were amazing! We fell a bit short this game, losing 25-22. The second set played out equally as our first. We had great sets by Paige and Stephanie and Megan was constantly moving digging up that ball. Good thing she has knee pads! We saw some hard hits from Kally & Nicole. Haley was kept busy at the net. Unfortunately the Titans took the game, 25-15. It was a disappointing finish to the day but as the saying goes, better luck next time!!

art_15uo_15umcgregorcup += "Even though we didn’t win, we still showed fantastic improvement through-out the day and since our last tournament. The results don’t show our level of play! We played well, and we fought hard! And as Kally said, “Ladies, you are amazing, we’ve never played so well, our place doesn’t prove it, but man oh man, it was intense, we wanted it and we were a team.” (Very well said). Our game has certainly improved and we look forward to the next tournament were I know we’ll win!!!!!!! A huge thank you to Jim and Sandy, our coaches, we couldn’t have done it without you.";

art_15uo_15uchallengecup += "The girls started the tournament off meeting the Pegasus Rip Tides of Kingston. Our girls came out strong and defeated the Rip tides with the scores of 25-21 & 26-24. What a nice way to start the day!
";
art_15uo_15uchallengecup += "The next team we faced was the Akwesasne Soaring Eagles. Our girls almost took the first match, but ended up losing with a final score of 23-25. The second match was a bit more rewarding with our girls coming back and taking that match 25-21.

art_15uo_15uchallengecup += "Our final game of the pool play would be against the Maverick Colts. Our girls fell just short in the first set losing 22-25. The second match was equally as tough with again the score ending 22-25.

art_15uo_15uchallengecup += "It had been a pretty good morning with our girls finishing 2nd in our pool.

art_15uo_15uchallengecup += "Our crossover match was against the Clarington Grizzlies. The first set was unbelievable. There were some fantastic rallies with some amazing plays. The set seemed to go back forth constantly before finally finishing with the Grizzlies winning the set 30-28. That’s right 30-28! The second set was unfortunately not so close, with us losing the set 17-25.

The girls came out swinging hard in their final sets of the day against the Akwesasne Soaring Eagles, once again. This time the girls won both sets quite easily with the scores of 25-14 & 25-18. It was a nice way to finish the day!

art_15uo_15uchallengecup += "The girls played really well with some huge improvements in their play. Both Aarti and Kim did a beautiful job setting up both Nicole and Brittany for some powerful hard hits. Our middles Alycia, Kally & Stacey made some great plays at the net. Both Megan & Paige had some of their best games of the season. Our girls are playing much better with each game, each tournament. It’s just a matter of time until they can see the results they truly deserve.

I’m sure the next tournament will be ours to dominate. We certainly look forward to the Bugarski Cup in two weeks. I’m sure our girls will have a much better result!
