We had great serves and took a 25 - 20 win in the first game. The girls were on a high after our win and had an excellent first rally for the second half. We won the second game with a score of 25 - 18.

";art_14uopredatorsclassic += "Our first game on Saturday, November 14th took us to St. Benedict where we faced Leaside Lightening. It was a very slow start as most of our girls didn’t seem fully awake. Our serves were a little off, although the teams were pretty evenly matched. A very close score throughout the whole game took us to a 25 -22 loss. In our second game, again the score was pretty even throughout, both teams fought for every point. We had some strong serves and set up the ball well; the girls were consistent with the 3 hits. First round loss with a score of 25 -14. Second half was strong, excellent rallies. The girls did great with talking to each other, and moved well on the court. We had good strong serves with excellent rallies and good digs. It was a very intense game with us going to extra points but suffering a heart breaking 27 - 25. The girls seemed a little down despite the cheering of all of their parents. They started the second half following the ball well, however they did need to talk to each other a little more and call the ball. After a couple of time outs and a pep talk from the coaches they came back strong and smiling! Which lead us to a 26 - 24 win! Our tie breaker game however didn’t go so well. The girls were exhausted, while they still maintained a good 3 hits they just didn’t have enough left in them which resulted in 15 - 5 loss.

";art_14uopredatorsclassic += "Our last game of the day faced us against the Hurricanes Blue again. The girls were confident with our win against this team the day before, maybe a little too confident…there was little calling the ball or moving their feet. We lost the opening match 25 - 14. Our second match had the girls working well together, they had excellent 3 hits and were setting up and blocking like troopers. It was another very intense game for those of us on the sidelines. The girls played hard and took the final score to a 28 - 26 loss.

";art_14uopredatorsclassic += "For me, I think we have a strong group of girls that play very well together. In the second game, the girls attacked the ball well in the beginning but lost focus later on, allowing Black to take the game 25-19. The third game was also close with Orange only one point behind when the girls changed sides. The girls fell behind in points from several net balls, losing the game 12-15. In the second game, the girls gave a lot of points away, serving into the net many times. With the score tied at 15, OrangeÕs play fell apart and the Tornadoes moved ahead to a 25-18 win.
