The team looked a little confused at first but had several good hits and serves. Although they played hard and hustled, they lost the first game 21-25. In the second set, Orange came out much stronger, feeling more confident with the Tri-ball format. Playing with more intensity and controlling the ball better, the team took the set 25-10. In the third set, the Titans were winning by 3 as the teams switched sides at half. The beginning of the first set had some great rallies. The girls started to scramble a bit in the second half, with less control of the ball leaving Durham Attack to pull ahead to a 25-18 win. In the second set, the girls seemed to lose their momentum and were slow to return some of Durham Attack’s strong hits. Crush lost the game 11-25.

";art_13uo_13uprovcup += "In the Bronze Medal Game Orange met the Scarborough Titans Omicron team. The first game started with the Titans ahead by 5. Fricker came out strong with some great serves which the girls found difficult to return. After Fricker scored the first 9 points, the girls gained some confidence and started to challenge the team with some good rallies. North Bay was awarded a few points on serves our girls tried to play but would have been out. Fricker took the first game 25-10. In the second game, the girls were off to a better start although there was some confusion to positioning on the court. The girls found it difficult to set up for hits and just seemed to constantly defend against some great offensive attacks. The final score was 25-13 for Sherwood. Crush lost their momentum in the second game, letting balls drop and not appearing to have as much energy as they did earlier. Cawker won the game 25-12.

";art_13uo_2010glashan += "In the quarter finals, Orange met the Glashan Spikers (Ottawa). Unfortunately, the girls started off slow, with little movement on the court, missed returns and couldn’t really get any good rallies going. Glashan took the first game 25-10. In the second game, the girls started out with some great blocks and good hustle in the back court, keeping the score fairly close through the first half. The girls were not as strong in the second half, allowing Glashan to pull ahead to win 25-15.

";art_13uo_2010glashan += "Overall, a fantastic weekend for the girls both on and off the court! The second game showed much of their same determination with the score tied at 14 but in the end, Black took the match 25-20. The third game had some strong rallies with Orange behind early on. Game 2 showed some good hustle and nice serves, but again, little calling of balls and lots of balls into the net. In the middle of the game, their play seemed to fall apart, allowing the Titans to creep ahead. Although the girls had some better rallies going towards the end, they ended with a 21-25 loss. The second game of the set found Crush with an early lead again, playing and moving well on the court. It was an exciting game to watch and, with some great setting and hitting, the girls took the game 25-17. A weak start with lots of mistakes in the third game left Crush with only 1 point when they changed sides. The girls fought hard at the end but couldn’t overcome the Titans lead and lost 6-15.

";art_13uo_13umcgregorcup += "In the Bronze Medal game, Crush met Durham Attack Red. Orange led throughout the first game with some balls pushed deep into the back court and, with better communication on the court, took the game 25-16. The girls appeared a bit frazzled in the second game sending a lot of free balls back to Red. It was a very close game with the score tied a number of times. Crush won the game (27-25) with a great spike and took home the Bronze.

";art_13uo_13umcgregorcup += "What a tremendous difference in play from Ottawa the previous weekend.
